Puppies

We donīt plan puppies for 2008 and 2009
You can find more info to our earlier litters at the
offspring page

Our puppies are born in the house and will spend their whole puppyhood with a constant contact
to our family. They will grow up within a pack of dogs and will learn right from the beginning
how to behave towards altered dogs. They will be confronted with many different people both old
and young. If the wheather is fine they can be out in our garden and spend a few hours of the day
outside.
Right from the beginning we will watch each single pup intensivly to find out as much as possible
about its character and so to find the right people for it. From the forth week on interested
people can visit the puppies whenever they want. Just give us a ring in advance. We are very much
interested in future buyers, spending as much time as possible with their pup to get to know it.
Also announced visitors who only want to get some information about the breed or want to see an
Aussie "live" are welcome. In general we would like to have as early contact as possible with the
interested people and maintain that contact for as long as possible. At any time we are prepared
to answer your questions and to help you with all sorts of problems. As well as that at any time
we will take back a dog being born in our kennel.
The pups will be dewormed regularly. A vaccination will happen in agreement with the future owners.
Between the 6th and 7th week the pups will be ophtalmologically checked. We feed our dogs with
high quality dry food as well as raw beef, because we found out that they accept a wide range of
food without any problems. We will do the same with the puppies so that every future owner can
then decide without any problems in which direction to feed.
Leaving our house between the 9th and 10th week every pup will get the following:
- A folder with copies of all the documents and photos of the parents
- A certificate of the result of the eye inspection of the puppy
- A feeding plan as well as hints for a good start
- A DVD with all puppy photos from the first day
- A dry food ration for the first couple of days
Obviously we will help you filling the documents and if you should need any help contacting ASCA
etc. just let us know. All puppies, only with the exception of a few carefully chosen ones
(please ask about that matter) will be placed with a "not for breeding" in their registration
papers for the safety of the breed and the single dog. This means no reduction in value of the
dog! It is just there to prevent all rashly or incautiously breeding with the offspring.
Breeding and registering with ASCA is very easy and there is no control of the dogs or breeders.
The "not for breeding" is the only possibility for the serious breeder to keep an eye on his offspring.
This option can be abolished by the breeder at any time. The difference between the "not for breeding"
registration papers and the usual ones is only, that offspring from a dog with this option may not
be registered with ASCA. Otherwise there is no restriction in shows, trials etc. Breeding prospects are
generally given away with co-ownership, which means that the breeder has got to be informed about all
breeding plans of this dog.
