Our goal is to breed physically and mentally healthy dogs which are also able to do the jobs they were bred for.

We are open-minded people, always ready to learn something new. One thing that is very important to us: our dogs should be like the original Australian Shepherd, which means they are supposed to be versatile, that of course includes that the dogs must be able to work with all kind of lifestock. We like to have dogs that match the Breedstandard in all venues! Aussies like there are in some pre-prime-time serials are not our goal.

We have also trained our dogs on livestock to test their capability of working. Due to time stress we cannot maintain our small flock of Krainer Steinschafe and are having to part company with them after 5 years. We still have a training possibilty on livestock so that we are in the position to offer that kind of work to our dogs.

The working on livestock is only one aspect of the dog`s ability as they can be used for all forms of canine sports. We set a great value on the dog`s ability to be easily motivated, easy to handle and that they know the difference between work and rest. Nothing is worse than an Aussie that can`t be switched off.

We only take dogs into our breeding programme that are not unnecessarily loud and can watch and wait for their turn. Our perfect view of an Aussie is a dog that is to be seen but not heard.
